The level 2 selection ‘West Coast Horizon’ is a strong concert selection for advanced middle school or young high school bands. An ostinato rhythmic pattern throughout the opening section gives way to a lyrical middle section. The melodies in the lyrical section can feature solo flute and solo trumpet. |
